My take on Starcraft II's NOVA on top of a dead Ultralisk!
This is a piece that I did for the Blizzcon 09 Fan Art Contest. It's still unfinished, but I don't feel like finishing it lol. I was working on it intensely for five days straight right before the deadline which I MISSed by 20 mins. This was probably one of the dumbest mistakes I made in my life. But I guess I learned the lesson the hard way. Lesson of not to submit something at the last minute or the day it's due.
As far as how the image turned out, I guess I'm pretty satisfied. I did fall into few traps along the way. Zooming in on the image and over detailing everything, not keeping myself aware of the overall composition. In the end I sort of struggled in getting all the parts of the image to fit together. So my word of advise to all the young artists looking at my image, "Don't zoom in 200% on your image! it's easy to fall into, especially on the computer."
Aneways!~ I hope you guys like my new Blizzcon Fan Art Contest Piece.
Damn looks nice, if you got it in I'm pretty sure you would of won the contest.

That is definitely one crazy detailed piece and sorry to hear you missed the deadline! Who knows how this would have placed, but it's certainly one outstanding piece regardless! And no zooming allowed!
