My take on Starcraft II's NOVA on top of a dead Ultralisk!
This is a piece that I did for the Blizzcon 09 Fan Art Contest. It's still unfinished, but I don't feel like finishing it lol. I was working on it intensely for five days straight right before the deadline which I MISSed by 20 mins. This was probably one of the dumbest mistakes I made in my life. But I guess I learned the lesson the hard way. Lesson of not to submit something at the last minute or the day it's due. As far as how the image turned out, I guess I'm pretty satisfied. I did fall into few traps along the way. Zooming in on the image and over detailing everything, not keeping myself aware of the overall composition. In the end I sort of struggled in getting all the parts of the image to fit together. So my word of advise to all the young artists looking at my image, "Don't zoom in 200% on your image! it's easy to fall into, especially on the computer." We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
